Rivier University is named in honor of Blessed Anne Marie Rivier, foundress of the Sisters of the Presentation of Mary. Upon founding the order, she proclaimed that “My Daughters will One Day Cross the Seas.” Today, The Sisters of the Presentation of Mary are found all over the world.
